Although we are ordinary people, as Christ’s ambassadors we have a relationship with an extraordinary God and an incredible opportunity to be used by Him according to His will and purpose.
In 1 Thessalonians 1:6-9, we read about the Church of Thessalonica making an impact in their world by having authentic faith, conviction and hope. A crucial ingredient to their unshakeable faith was the solid foundation and confidence they had in what they believed, causing them to be so influential they were known throughout their entire world.
With the heart to cultivate such faith, conviction and hope, we are excited to be launching Spring Street Training College, an opportunity for all Christians to dig deep foundations by studying the Word of God. Spring Street Christian Church is dedicated to seeing men and women grow not only in their knowledge of the Bible but in an authentic faith that is sustainable.
Embark on the journey in 2010 to establish yourself with a great foundation for the rest of your life.
As we sit at the eve of a new decade, we have once again invested a lot of prayer, time and discussion into considering our key strategic partnerships as a college, as well as the fresh direction that will enable us to go even further into 2010! With a great sense of peace and excitement, we are pleased to announce a new partnership with Alphacrucis, the national training college for the Australian Christian Churches of which we are a part.
Alphacrucis was formally known as Southern Cross College, a college of incredible reputation as a Christian College. Alphacrucis translates to mean ‘first cross’ and is also the name of the brightest star at the foot of the Southern Cross, a concept not lost on the college when stating its desire for all students to shine brightly at the foot of the cross of Jesus Christ.
